FUNERALS

The people of the Emerald City love ceremonies and public displays. When a loved one dies they often throw lavish parties & banquets, celebrating the success and prodigious wealth of the deceased.

When a player character dies, his friends can have him buried in style. Think of it as a special one-time only, no-limit carousing affair. Money, magic items or other valuables can be donated or spent on grave goods, food, musicians, professional mourners, dancing pallbearers, or whatever else you can dream up. The total silver piece value of all goods sacrificed/spent is gained by that player's new character in experience points. Have fun with it and use your imagination!
